Chaplet of the Precious Blood

CHAPLET OF THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD
This Chaplet is composed of 33 beads in memory of the 33 years of Jesus' life on earth. The Our Father prayer is recited 33 times in honor of the 33 years the Precious Blood flowed in the veins of Jesus before it was all poured out on the Cross for our salvation.
The beads are separated into seven sections that correspond with seven times that Jesus shed His Precious Blood:

• The Circumcision
• His Agony in the Garden
• The Scourging at the Pillar
• The Crowning with Thorns
• Shoulder Wound and other wounds from Carrying the Cross
• The Crucifixion, and
• The Piercing of His Side

The beads are red facet cut glass; the center and crucifix are silver-plated base metal.
